I think fashion is good! It's the first thing you notice about a person. It also should somewhat reflect your personality. I think that there is nothing wrong with what you are doing.that is guyz that is! You know what guyz?! Fashion is what you make it and what you express as individuality!
this sounds like a goody good. kind of like my grandma "fashion shouldn't be important, Maziyar! just be yourself and everything will be ok" pshaw, now excuse me while i go to Iran Zamin mall to get some trendy clothes:D

Hello Everybody,

I think fashion like every other human concern is not a matter of absolute rule. I mean you can't neither accept it totally nor reject it completely. I believe this is quite a personal area and you can not force people to accept your idea. Anyway, I think fashion is good if you take it in a moderate - not excessive let's say - way. Because as the name says fashion implies a process of style change so if you want to stick with it firmly its pace, in my estimation, is so much faster than your steps. Therefore, you might fall down and break your bones!!!!
I agree, partly, to what Maziyar has said: fashion shows a person's personality. It also shows people's social class and carrier like the fashion of royal families and the ones belong to the media stars.So fashion shows individual desires and needs too.
Well dears I talked too much. It's now time for going to buy a new fashionable pair of jeans!!!!

I personally believe fashion is a matter of taste, but a taste dictated by some authorities! in a broader sense, fashion is nothing but telling people that they do not know how to wear, what to wear, and what to carry, and the fashion designers know it better!
It's somehow right, as there are people who do not have enough knowledge about colors, styles, etc. and fashion designers are there for them, but I believe everybody may have his or her own fashion designer, so that they can choose the best according to their complexion, body mass, height, and so on.

Well dear all;
I believe fashion is great. I am amazed that Ehsan says it is all about telling people what to do, and the fashion designers know it better. No it is all about listening to experts giving you advice and yes they sure do know better than us, they are experts for god's sake, like everybody else. Every one has a lot of choices. In the world today you cannot say that there is only one way for fashionable people. There are hundreds of designers and even people who create fashion styles of their own. Let's look at the matter from another point of view, like what Maziar said, what is wrong with being neat and looking good? Isn't appearance the first impression you make on people? As Hamid said it is a matter of personal interest.Let's not be pessimistic. Even if it is about profit for some people, it doen't mean it is bad.Life for everyone is about making profits. Aren't lawyers, doctors, engineers and many others making profit? So what is wrong with being an expert in the field of fashion? As for the issue of superficiality, who defines superficial? What is superficiality? We cannot tell people that you are superficial because we think so. Every body has their own values, which is respectable. Don't you think so?

i agree with all of you! and thanks for your idea,
but there is one problem! there are different views about fashion, you know what i mean, i mean the meaning of fashion can be quite different even on the oppsoite sides. for example fashion in bussiness and trade is something quite different from fashion in personal life.
in my opinion fashion in personal life is freer and more beautiful because everyone is own designer and you can see many different taste and you can enjoy their styles.

I personally think that following fashion and also the style of our favorite actress and actresses is definitely wrong. Because by using this method we may lose our selves and maybe our behavior.
I believe that fashion helps us to know about colors and how we can match our clothes together. We have to create specific style for ourselves which means that we can design everything for ourselves and be up-to-date. Moreover, if we just want to be like other in clothes, acts, etc. we may change our personalities as other people talked about it.
Any way as Maziar said, fashion is not just about clothes, it can be included many items in people’s life.(I’m so afraid of writing such a thing here but I did it:D)

fashion is not just about clothes, colors and how we can match our clothes together. Fashion is revealing. Clothes reveal what groups people are in. For instance, a businessman might look at a boy with green hair and multiple piercings as a freak and outsider!
Fashion is something we deal with everyday. Fashion is a language which tells a story about the person who wears it. "Clothes create a wordless means of communication that we all understand," according to Katherine Hamnett. Hamnett became popular when her t-shirts with large messages like "Choose Life" were worn by several rock bands. And i think Fashion is an endless popularity contest. I don`t know and i believe nobody really knows but i want to know what do u think about someone who follows fashion?! is that her/his personality or just her/his life styles?

Hi Maziar,
You know, most of the people just follow the fashion without any attention. And they use it in a wrong way. So, I think it’s because of their thought and characteristics that they cannot choose anything by they own ideas. They also have a lot of problem in their life style too. They just want to do what others do. Therefore, I believe that using fashion in our life depends on people’s personality. As you mentioned, they wear something which has a specific meaning and they must know where and why they can use it. But, unfortunately now a days we can see most of teen ages use many things without any knowledge, which might change their behavior.
So, DONOT FOLLOW ANYTHING, when you really don no their meaning in your life. :D

Fashion Rocks!!! of course, the topic, not itself.
I'm afraid I have to confess I hate fashion. You know, in a broader sense, fashion is a kind of dictatorship as I said. It is a set of hidden rules, issued by the people at the top, in order to make you a consumer! look around you. What you see is not fashion, but brands: Calvin Klein, D & G, Versace, Ambre, bla bla...

Even in a broader than broader sense, the behavior of many people is according to a fashion! I see them as empty, mindless freaks, only obeying what is dictated! I hate fashion is the only sentence I can say!!!

I agree with parisa but not you ehsan! because you have many problems in your idea about fashion, what do u think about your clothes? do u think it`s not fashion? i think they are! maybe Not now but many years ago they were. all cloths have their own designer and every one is desigend for an aim. I agree that we should not just follow fashion, but I don't think one can say I don't use fashion in my life. everythings around has has fashion in it. how we order the furniture in our home, the colors we use and the things we buy, our behaviour with other peoples, are fashion in a way. think about it, fashion is not just about cloths, it includes many things. I think fashion is everything that u can use to show emotions and feelings. About the outfit, fashion is not just brands!fashion can be created by you, when you wake up in the morning and think what to wear today, it is fashion. yes i want to wear this jeans today, and that shoes no! this shoes hell yeah, i`m intrested in wear this one today! that is fashion! fashion is not just a brand, fashion is a language which tells a story about you and about your day, for instance how u feel today!? that is fashion and in our life it includes taste and life style.

hey guys,i believe that fashion is wonderfull,i have the same opinion as doktor.there is no one who experts in all majors and we need some people to design new models for clothes,decoration and so on.isn`t our life repetitive without fashion?i think it is.designers give us many choices and we can choose according to our body styles and our interests.they just give us some advice and it depends on people who should decide how use it!

I agree with Maziyar. Fashion does not end only in clothes. It is in every little aspect of our lives. It rules our lives, in fact. All you need to do is just turn around and look at things like - furniture, kitchen appliances, clothes etc. things which you use them everyday. They are not mere dumb brands, helping the designers to sell more. They talk to us!!! They reveal a thought, a creativity and an appreciating taste of choice .... let's say fashion (in any field) was created to make the designer(s) richer and make the people mere consumers. Now my question - to the cons of fashion - [Ehsan Jan and the company] is that imagine there wouldn't have been any of these brands, as you say, who would make for you your clothes or did you make your own say sofa to have rest on???!!!!
Oh dear as I said I am not to force my idea but I want you to change the way you look at things like fashion.

hey guys, i think that fashion designers are one of the most smartest people in busines world. they exactly know how to change people's taste. almost it is unbeliveable . because when you come back to the past and look at picturs of you ,yoy wonder how you could wear these clothes or had this hair style. desiners give us some ideas but all of us have a special personality and carecter so, we must make them suitable for ourselves. then we wear in the best way . please correct my mistake . thanks a lot

hey you guys, I believe you have misunderstood the word "fashion designer". Actually, there's a confusion between the word "producer" and "designer". If there was no designer,or to be more exact, fashion designer, we would still have producers, and of course, a greater variety of models and designs.
When there is no designer at all, there are a lot of people who can find enough bravery to put all their ideas out, but if we look at it in the hands of the designers, then there would be only one model, one design, at a time, which is a kind of indirect dictatorship!!!

being innovative is the key, and i believe it's not the designers only who are creative!!!

well , i think as a matter of fact we can do what we like , considering not spoiling others rights. if you are realy keen on doing sth that's not against others right, do it... no problem with it... for example , following fashion is sth you are really free in doing or not... even , you are free to make a fashion for yourself.
but , be careful, care about not abusing others right... i think this is tha most significant point...

hey maziyar you are right too :).fashion is not only about clothes,actually fashion is a science of creating new models new suggestions in many aspects .designers know people`s interests and regarding to it create new models for clothes ,decoration,hair style,art,music,way of life and etc.it is not mandatory to follow all fashions in all aspects.we just can take inspiration !!!!!! .we are free.if we don`t like something we won`t accept it.is n`t it optional?on the other hand,not every one has the time and the inspiration for creating new models in order to have an
unrepetitive life.why don`t they follow designers?

I personally believe that FASHION is an art. Art of good looking and even art of good living. You can just have a good look by knowing what kind of clothes and colors are matching with you Not by following the strange way of western countries. I'm not a traditional person but I think we shouldn't forget our own culture.

for most people Fashion is a method of utilizing clothing, accessories and hair to show or hide something about themselves.
